thinking of installing a stock radio...

I have a 260z with an Alpine head unit and am thinking of installing a stock 260z am/fm radio I have. I'd like to do it if I could find a hidden bluetooth unit I could tie into the radio to play the mp3's on my phone. Does anyone know of a bluetooth addon that may work?

1973/74 am/fm and blue tooth...-if you can find a blue tooth RF adaptor you might get close to what you are after.

I would simply install an aftermarket amp that has the appropriate plugin/adaptor, and wire it up as a separate unit sharing speakers and power leads on a switch(power and speakers on the same rotary switch-different poles to keep from hurting anything with no load on it).

Jeffery-

I have a stock 72 Hatachi AM/FM and I am installing a RetroOne reciever MP3 Player AM-FM as a stand alone unit with seperate speakers from the stock radio in the car - MSA speaker unit that takes the place of the rear tail light plastic. I am planning on placing it in the glove box all tucked away and out of site so if you look into the car you can not see at all. It will be controled though a IR remote and wiring that goes back to the reciever to change mode selections. Once I get the install done (hopefully next week if I can find time from my projects) I will post pictures. I have requsted information from the group and nobody said they had done an installation like this one.

Some people could not figure out why I would want a remote but would you try to open the glove box while you are driving to increase volume or change to another MP3 file or radio station.........I don't think so if you like you carROFL
