Posted June 3, 200915 yr comment_285505 I Have new factory Nissan hardware kits that I bought a while back ago that comes with the anti squeel springs and shims and wanted to get new calipers for it now and Courtesy Nissan E-mails me today "Dear Jared, Sorry the calipers for your car are no longer available through Nissan" So now I suppose I have to go aftermarket on those and I'm sure the hardware kit won't work in the aftermarket ones Never fails :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32066-brake-calipers-no-longer-avail-through-nissan/ Share on other sites
June 3, 200915 yr comment_285506 No real reason to believe that they won't work... most likely the same as OEM...Worth a try... June 3, 200915 yr Author comment_285507 Hopefully they will. Maybe it's just me but the aftermarket ones I saw looked slightly different. Could be just me too. Can't trust pictures. I'll know more when I have a chance to work on it while I'm off from work on vacation. June 3, 200915 yr comment_285518 Huh? Nissan doesn't sell calipers for s30's anymore??! Currently I have some reman calipers on my Z and they SUCK. The pistons have no plating which is why I get 2-3 years out of a set. I was hoping to buy some real calipers from nissan.
