Posted June 6, 200915 yr comment_285812 I'm looking for any leads as to where one can purchase connectors that will mate to my early 240 harness. The blade type connectors are the ones I'm looking for.I bought some from http://www.eagleday.com/blco.html but sadly they do not mate with the ones on my harness. The dimensions of the body of the connector is wrong - to large by a small amount.I have also found these http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm by searching the forums. Does anyone know if these will mate up?Any other leads to a source would be welcome. Thanks, John Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32103-where-to-buy-wiring-harness-connectors/ Share on other sites

July 7, 200915 yr comment_288888 I just purchased a Headlight upgrade cable kit from Black Dragon Auto. The total cost was $29.95. It included 5 connectors, 2 relays, and the entireharness. Finished and ready to install.I am going to modify it with connectors from VintageConnectors.com.Great deal. July 7, 200915 yr comment_288890 Hi Jerry:If it is "ready to install" - why are you - or why do you have to modify it with connectors from VintageConnectors.com?Post some pictures if you can - I'd like to see it...BTW - did you really mean Vintage Connections - www.vintageconnections.com/FWIW,Carl B. July 7, 200915 yr comment_288896 Yes Carl, That's what he meant. I've ordered from them as well and they work well. The Upgrade harness from Black Dragon is the one that many of us, me included, have stressed about NOT buying. You have to cut the hell out of it to make it work. It's designed to work with Exposed connector headlights, unlike the S30's that have incased haedlights. You have to cut all the connectors off and hardwire them to your Z, unless you used OEM style connectors and terminals to make it work like My upgrade harness does. $30 is a good deal if you know what you're doing or have an exposed rear headlight system, And you don't mind the Bright yellow sleeving that it comes wrapped in.....I like CRC2 best for pairs of connectors and terminals by the piece.Dave Edited July 7, 200915 yr by Zs-ondabrain Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32103-where-to-buy-wiring-harness-connectors/#findComment-288896 Share on other sites
July 7, 200915 yr comment_288914 Try Banzai Motorworks, www.zzxdatsun.com, and look in the catalogue under wiring. He, also, has a lot of things that aren't necessarily listed in the catalogue. Good luck.Dan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32103-where-to-buy-wiring-harness-connectors/#findComment-288914 Share on other sites
July 7, 200915 yr comment_288935 I like how they say the black dragon kit is ready to install even though it requires a bunch of work.
