Posted June 12, 200915 yr comment_286420 well the rust on my dads 72 has taken the car RIPI can only weld sooo much to to a almost gone hardly alive car!So do the 260's or 280's front frames hold up better or still the same amount of rust take them to the grave? June 12, 200915 yr comment_286422 I think it really depends on where the car has been rather than whether it's a 240-260-280. Rust is rust. There all over 30 years old. June 12, 200915 yr comment_286432 Agreed. In your part of the country, any older Z will rust badly if it has been driven in the winter. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32172-ugh-looking-for-a-new-z-car/#findComment-286432 Share on other sites

June 12, 200915 yr comment_286447 West of the Rockies. Places without road salt. Or anywhere where you can find a car that has been garaged its entire life and not driven in Winter.
