Posted June 12, 200915 yr comment_286444 A buddy of mine who races vintage class here in wisconsin was pitted with these guys last year. I am trying to find out who they are. They where older gentlemen and i guess they traveled alot on the circuit. One of these guys wives had the camaro in the background. These are two of the most bad arse z's i think i will ever see. Gotta love old school!!!!! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32176-who-the-heck-owns-these-hot-ass-twins/ Share on other sites
June 12, 200915 yr comment_286445 I edited your post to load smaller size images. In the future, please don't post or link to such huge files. Try to keep to 800x600 or smaller. June 12, 200915 yr comment_286448 Cars look great. Thanks for resizing Arne. Attachment feature is the best way to get the files uploaded to the site, but, that works! How often are these twins raced? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32176-who-the-heck-owns-these-hot-ass-twins/#findComment-286448 Share on other sites

June 12, 200915 yr comment_286494 The pics were taken at Blackhawk. I'd venture to guess the cars run in either Midwest Council's solo1 (high speed autocross) or some type of open track, possibly NASA. They wouldn't be running any vintage events with forced induction. They do look good! What group does your friend race with? What kind of car? June 13, 200915 yr comment_286569 Those are way to serious of rides to auto x i would think. On the contrary. You'll find some very serious rides at a Council solo1 event, in many ways more so than the w2w guys. For example, Cameron (Heavy85 @ Hybridz) competes with an LS1 powered Z in them. September 16, 200915 yr comment_294874 I've got a buddy that owns a Cobra replica, insanely fast with tremendous torque!! I just came back from the Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday (they had their Fall AutoFair). If you are looking for insane power the Shelby Cobra replicas are the ticket but if you are looking for an original you better be saving your quarters. They go for some big bucks.....$1M+. I also have a buddy that owns an original..........check these out.http://classicfordgarage.com/contactus.htmlBe sure to click on the Shelbys and the other links..........this is big money!!
