Help me ID these Electrical Components

While I am waiting on some help welding up my frame I am tackling my wiring issues. I am not sure what these parts are for, could you please help me ID them?

Pic 1 is attached to a blue wire, but the round end has broken off. Can I simply solder this back together? Can I/should I order a new one?

Pic 2 was in the car's spare parts pile, but I cannot find anything while digging through the FSM. Courtesy Nissan and a google search show it as a repair assembly? What for

Pic 3. I dont see my yellow black oil pressure sender wire anywhere. Also, I can't figure out what the little rubber cap is for. It has to Red/blue wires.

Thanks

Sorry, it is a 72! Also, I have been unable to locate any underdash turn signal flasher relay. Aren't those supposed to be somewhere near the colomn while the hazard flasher is on the passenger footwell area

1 is a condensor and it is replacible, I could have sworn it was on a black wire but I could be wrong. It's typically mounted to the same bolt as the Voltage regulator. Doesn't matter how you connect it to the correct wire, as long as you connect it.

2 looks like an A/C relay. don't take my word for it though. Arne would know before me.

3 are you sure it's not a Yellow/white wire? like the insolated one near the motor mount?

Your turn signal flasher might also be in the upper left hand kick panel area and has a white, 2 wire connector. So if it's not on the steering column support, look to the left.

I checked around at the Z store and didn't see anything for a condensor. though I will try to solder this one back up.

I do have an uninstalled factory air kit and that may have gotten seperated from the rest of it. I will check the part list for it and see if it matches anything there. Does anyone want that? :)

Also, I was able to clean up the wire better by the mount a bit better and I think it is yellow/black after all. It just has the wrong end on it and that through me off. I havent had time to check out the flashers yet, but will shortly.

Thanks again

I think #2 is one of the relays on the passenger side kick panel just below the dash. The automatic cars had a starter interlock relay over there. The hazard relay on my '73 looks like that and it's over on the pass kick panel.

I have officially ID'd number 2....it is the accessory relay. Having plugged it in I now have windshield wipers! THough they appear to be very slow and don't even have the wiper arms attached yet!

I have hooked up my hazard flasher, but still dont have any turn signals. My hazards also work. According to my haynes manual a white wire and green wire should go for the turn signal flasher and I have a set on the driver's side, but when connected to the heavy duty/hazard flasher I still get nothing. I would've anticipated a fast flash at least.

I managed to connect the oil pressure sender as well and while I am not getting any pressure the gauge at least works when I ground it out.

Thanks for your help so far.

I took the route of some other members and bought a universal flasher and now have 3 of 4 turn signals.

The funny part is the dash display is reversed from reality. Turn on the left flasher and it flashes on the dash to the right and both left turn signals work. Turn on the right flashers and no light on the dash, but only the rear flashers work. Oddly enough all lights work propertly with hazard lights.

Your light sockets are switched in the tach and the trun signal has a bad rocker inside the switch, not making contact.

Crud, I was hoping to not have to rebuild the switch...though I suppose the write-ups will make that a relatively easy task. I thought that when the switch was bad it would cause a larger failure overall, not just one failing.

I have at least 2 maybe 3 other switch assemblies to tear into. Hopefully they are from the same year.

Thanks Zs-ondabrain!
