Weasel73240Z Posted June 29, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2009 I took the Z to my 1st gathering this weekend in North Attleboro, MA. Thought I'd share the pics. The star of the show was the lime green VZ car, it was stunning. Pretty good turnout, about 20, which is 20 more Z's than I've seen in the last 2 years. There were about 7 or 8 240's. Bruce Palmer Posted June 29, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 29, 2009 You know, it would be interesting to see what the numbers might look like were it opened up to all Datsun stuff. Maybe everyone was thrilled the way it turned out but it seems a shame all the others didn't get a chance to show there stuff.
bigoak Posted June 30, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 30, 2009 Up north (Ontario & Quebec at any rate), we generally include all forms of Datsun product in our Z days...

More info to follow. The event shown above was a simple cruise-in on a Saturday morning.
jtmader Posted June 30, 2009 Share #5 Posted June 30, 2009 This event was a real success....actually there were about 25 Z's that showed up that day. As a member of ZCCNE based upon the success of this event we most likely try it again next year and possibly expand it. Marc Moreau did an excellent job as event organizer.Paul Martin - thanks for the kind words....the lemon/lime VZ is mine.Jeff Mader

mgmoreau Posted June 30, 2009 Share #8 Posted June 30, 2009 Paul,Thanks for posting these pictures. I have others that I can add to this. I am sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you on Saturday. We did have an excellent turnout of cars and the weather finally cooperated. I would like to thank everyone that showed up and helped make this first show a great success. Great looking car show on a day you fellas finally had some sunshine. I'm glad you didn't get rained out and had a nice day. All the cars look great. I recognize Jeff's lime VZ and also the silver 1972. I believe it belongs to Ken Lewis if my feeble mind is correct. That car was here in Plant City, FL and I kept it fine tuned for the 2nd owner for 10+ years until Ken flew down to buy it and drive it back. Anyway, great show. I'll have to make it a point to attend some of these New England car shows as there are many fine examples to admire.Jim FrederickZ Mecca, FL

I'm really looking forward to my first Z show. Honestly, I can't believe I haven't made it to one yet. I'm pretty sure getting the beast back on the road will provide me with enough motivation.
