I just bought a '77 280z with with some wheels that don't fit that I plan on taking off, and I'm buying a nazi set. They are off a '82 turbo 280zx. I believe the stock wheels on the z are 14s (no clue what width), these new wheels are 15x7s. Will they fit and not rub?

Thanks!

They should fit just fine assuming you haven't made any changes to the brake system such as a significantly larger caliper. Many people run these wheels on their S30s as well as the smaller 14" 5 spoke version that came on the non-turbo 81-83 ZX. You should be able to run up to a 225/50/15 without any rub even on a 280Z lowered 1-2 inches.

Thanks! I have not done anything to the brakes, and I believe no one else has done anything extreme. I have now some wheels that are probably nissan 16s? (no idea what specs, and don't feel like going outside) and would need spacers to work because they rub on the struts. I guess I'm good to go, just hoping for at least one more reply just for a double check. Buying them for only 150 with tires mint. Yay!

:D

Well the 16s are on my car now with four bolt pattern. I'm not exactly sure if the wheels are 16, I'm just guessing by what I've seen, I never really read on the tire what they are. I've only had the car for a day.

I dont have the picture of my car available at the moment, but here are the wheels that I am getting:

I have them on my 72 with no problems at all except finding the right centercaps that came with them and figuring out a way to make them fit on the front (the centercaps)
