Hey all, Bob Hanvey from the Datsun Workshop. I am selling my entire combo from radiator to driveshaft. For those unfamiliar, here is the setup:

F54 block, bored out to 3098cc's.

P-90A head with .460 lift, 270/280 duration cam,(people said I couldn't do the hydrualic head, it has worked flawlessly for 15k miles).

-Nissmo 1 3/4" header into 3 inch exhaust,(you get the whole thing, to the muffler tip)

-Triple 40mm SK racing carbs, tuned on engine and dynojet.

-Puts 180hp and 200 lb-ft of torque to the wheels

You get everything, my 4 core MSA radiator, 2 10 inch electric fans with controler, Crane Hi-6 ignition unit with coil, T5 tranny which will fit in all 73-78 Z's. If you have a 70-72 with the bolt in crossmember, you will have to fabricate a new mount. I understand this is not hard. You get my modified mount. You also get the driveshaft and input flange for the diff.

When I said complete, I meant it! :)

I live in Norfolk Virginia and you are welcome to come down and drive the car before I pull the motor. I plan to pull the motor in the beginning of November. This is a proven combo that runs 13's in the 1/4 mi,(ironicaly not what I built it for).

You get all my records, reciepts, dyno pull printouts, etc.. And anything I else I can think of. I have every reciept for this motor,(and my whole car), even nuts and bolts. This is the motor that I wrote the articles on Zhome.com and based the Datsun Workshop from.

The price is $4000. I will entertain all serious offers. Shipping can be negotiated, and is expected to be $200-250 to California with a crate. You have the most leverage on me if you come pick it up here in Norfolk, possibly more if you help me pull it.

To curb questions as to why I am selling, I am converting to a RB26dett. I have loved my current combo, but am ready/restless for another project. The motor was recently refreshed,(new bearings/rings/seals/pumps, etc..), and has approx 1k on the motor. This is a great running motor, and a proven one. you won't be disappointed.

Oh, you also get my Bosch fuel pump and Holley fuel pressure regulator. Basically anything having to do with the motor and transmission. I will not need any of it,(except the fuel tank).

You should be able to bolt this in your car and go. Sure, you might be able to do it for the same cost, maybe even less,(I am taking a bath on how much I have in it, more in parts alone), but it will likely take a year or more, and as I experienced, will come in over budget.

Send all your questions to rehanvey@yahoo.com with a subject of 3.1 stroker for sale,(or similar). It may take a day or two before I can respond.

-Bob Hanvey
