Hey guys!

Sorry for letting you wait a bit. Here are the pictures of our 2000km trip all across France! We had a truely amazing time there and we both fell in love with France and it's people.

The car held up well. During the ride on 'Route Napoléon' and on our way back over the Swiss alps, we found some of the most beautiful driving roads

Enough said:

I believe this is/was due to the vehicle codes over there. I've seen a few pics of UK 240Z's and you can see the lower turn signal openings in the left & right valence corners blocked off and turn signals bolted to the top of the bumper. That said, the car you saw could just as easily have been a 260Z as those were sold for many years outside of NA. Hard to say without a picture as a reference.

I confirm Euro 240z has turn signal on top of the bumper, most likely for legislation issue.

240z spec in Europe are quite different than the us ones:

- Bigger front stab bar, rear stab bar

- 5 speed gearbox

- R180 3.9

Nice pictures!

Have you had some interest from the Frenchies with your Datsun? What was your feeling regarding it?

We had a guy on a motorcycle following us through half of Grenoble, to then pull next to the car and give us a thumbs up :)

Then in monaco an older bloke in a bentley "something" convertible waved us and held his thumb up as well.

In general people upwards of 40 and children showed interest in the car. Some of them had a short chat with us at the fuel stations.
