I'm buying another Z !

Won't be able to pick it up for another 10 days, but will post pics after I get it home. This weekend I have to clean the garage to make space.

It's certainly not perfect but mostly orginal. __Needs some minor body / bumper work, some seat covers and minor mechanicals.

Just what I needed, another project when I have yet to finish my current Z ! __Actually, I plan to do the minor mechanical repairs and drive it while I finish the silver Z. Can't have too many Z's!

Ok...that's a delightful lack of detail..

Year:

Model: (guess the year will give us that, mind you could be 2+2..)

Colour:

Where bought: (ok, I'll assume you didn't pry loose an east coast classic...)

Oh yeah....congratulations...the madness continues...

What a tease you are Oiluj!

Don't yet have any detailed pics yet. It's about 30 miles away, so I can drive it home, but have to wait till early next week to pick it up.

Here's the basic stats:

1972 240Z__

White w/ Red__

Straight, clean body, only minor dings and older, serviceable paint.__

Mostly original interior, a bit worn and seat covers have tears. Dash has minor cracks.

Stock drive train & suspension needing minor mechanical work, but driveable.__

When I told my wife I bought it, her response was:__ "Sweet!_His & Hers!" followed by:__"You need to make space in the garage."

Now that's an understanding wife. Congrats on not being in the doghouse for spending the cash before getting the nod. LOL

I totally endorse the thought processes behind possessing and driving multiple Zed cars. I am in the process of refreshing two cars and have a third to drive while the others may not always be available to me. The third car is also the one I drive in any weather, park in nearly any car park, and do not mind driving down dirt roads etc. It is really nice to always have a Zed to drive and some days I have a triple Zed day when I get to drive all three.

Mind you, the attitude I perceive from She Who Must Be Obeyed could only be described as minimally tolerant but then, you cannot win them all.

Look forward to hearing more details in due course.
