July 22, 200915 yr comment_290153 Undoubtedly made by Gabriel, probably as a private label for some large re-marketer like NAPA, Sears or the like. Gabriel and Monroe were about the only US shock makers for this period, but most Monroe strut inserts were actually made by Sachs/Boge in Europe (frequently Belgium). July 22, 200915 yr comment_290168 Any idea about strut inserts made in Venezuela? I pulled a set out of my Z earlier this summer and couldn't find any other markings besides that. There was a sticker originally, which said the model/brand/etc I'm assuming, but they had all long since disintegrated. July 22, 200915 yr comment_290170 Some of the later Monroes were made in Venezuela. Can't say for certain, though... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32604-strut-insert-identification/#findComment-290170 Share on other sites
July 23, 200915 yr comment_290182 If I remember my part numbers from back then, that looks like a Gabriel number. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32604-strut-insert-identification/#findComment-290182 Share on other sites
