JC Whitney also has selected Z body panels, at least they did a catalog or two ago!

In addition to the other sources mentioned by the other poster, I have heard the urban legend that "your local bodyshop" also has some professional parts sources that probably supply them.

As for installing them; I wish I knew how so I could tell ya!

When I spend to get mine fixed, I'll ask the bodyshop for 2 estimates, one if I supply the panels, the other if they supply the panels!

I got mine from JCWhitney. You may also be able to get them from Courtesy Nissan in Texas.

Remove the front fender. Remove the door. Remove the kick panels and door sills.

Once you have the new one, use it for a reference to see how far they extend forward and aft. I used an air chisel to break the old one lose. You could also get some spot weld drill bits from a company like Eastwood to keep the cutting down. The hardest part is where they tie into the a-pillar up front. The rocker is behind them. I chose to cut my rocker and butt weld it so I didn't have to get into the a-pillar. If you are making a show car you may want to do it right.

Once the old one was removed, it was simply a matter of welding the new one in. They fit quite nicely.

Oh, it was time consuming and frustrating.

I ordered mine from victoria british and mine was extremely easy to do with an air chisel. The rear dogleg infront of the passenger wheel well was rotted out of my 260 so I ordered a new one of those. The rear of the rocker fits inside of there so it was easy once I cut out the dogleg. My A-pillar up front was easy to break loose at the original spot weld with the chisel. I ground down all the welds flush and clamped in the new rocker.

I then mounted the fender to ensure that everything matched up there as the bottom of the fenter bolts to the rocker. Also, I mounted the door to ensure all went smooth there.

Then I made reference marks, unclamped the rocker, used POR-15 on the inside of the panel and then tacked in the new panel ensuring to line up my reference marks.
