DeMoore Posted July 24, 2009 Share #7 Posted July 24, 2009 (edited) Good looking car. Complete and straight. Any plans for her at the moment? Little bit of rust here and there. Edited July 24, 2009 by DeMoore
1 Bravo 6 Posted July 24, 2009 Share #8 Posted July 24, 2009 (edited) Yair, nice find there mate,Were the front and rear bumpers stock on the 260's in the States ???. I reckon they look good. Certainly better than the stock bumpers on my 260.One other point of interest is the centre console. Very different to mine. Is it also stock ??Rick.:devious::devious: Edited July 24, 2009 by 1 Bravo 6 Added a bit.
bigoak Posted July 24, 2009 Share #9 Posted July 24, 2009 Way to go Ace. She looks very good, particularly the interior. I was a little worried when I saw the seat covers, but the driver's seat looks great as well.Bravo. That center console is aftermarket. It's a simply overlay on the existing console. I believe both Motorsport and Black Dragon sell them. Makes drive-thru life much easier (spoken by someone spilt more than 1 cup of coffee in the Z, including yesterday...) Jeff G 78 Posted July 24, 2009 Share #11 Posted July 24, 2009 Now you just need to find a clean set of three screw SUs to replace the Weber DGVs. Very nice find!
MikeW Posted July 24, 2009 Share #12 Posted July 24, 2009 Were the front and rear bumpers stock on the 260's in the States ???.In the states the 260Z was only available in 1974 and there was an "early" model and a "late" model. This is the "early" model with bumpers similar to the 1973 240Z. The late model had the larger bumpers similar to the 280Z. The bumper "towel bars" in this example are aftermarket.
