Hi all,

I've been thinking the front page slogan is a little stale. Let's put together some new ideas. What kind of front page slogan would you like to see under the main graphic? Help me with some ideas and your slogans might just appear on the front page of the site! What do you think?

FYI, our short slogan is "Pride, Performance, Preservation"

I don't mind the existing slogan, but perhaps it's fresher to me than you veterans. The only quibble is with "pride". In this context I know it is fine, but at the risk of being too philosophical pride can be a false virtue.

If change is preferred how about - "Dedicated To Datsuns Done Right" - I'm a sucker for alliteration and the "done right" is intended to be a little cheeky.

Driving "Z" History to "Z" Eternity!

I was looking through these and all are great. But, we aren't necessarily replacing our slogan. I am looking to put something in the front page "welcome" box... It will need to be a short paragraph welcoming visitors to the site.

Although, this has me thinking about the slogan now... haha. Our existing slogan is great, but, it doesn't mean we have to use just one!

I kinda like the idea of following Nissan's slogans...

SHIFT_Datsun

SHIFT_Classic

SHIFT_z

To answer Arne, I do have a good relationship with Nissan. I don't think they would mind if we use some of their old slogans.... How about "Datsun Saves"

For the preservation and the thrills from A to Z.

I like the "from A to Z" part brings in some of the advertising history and naturally give to the preservation this site tries to maintain.
