Stuck in Seattle with the Z.. Whats to do?

So here I am with my family in Seattle and I was "forced" into bringing the Z all the way from Montana... I would love to get together with some folks from around here but do not know anybody local. I see there is a show and shine on the 9th at the Everet Nissan dealership.. I will definately attend. Any thoughts to good drives would help... I have already made the trip from downtown to Carnation and over to North Bend.. that was kinda fun. Any other routs would help as we have nothin to do but wait here for the next month.. its gettin pretty borring. Thanks as usual folks.

I'll most likely be at the ZCCW show on the 9th. Maybe bringing two cars if I can get the wife to drive one. The local Z club does group drives about every month I think, but they are generally all day drives. I have directions for the last couple. One is a "circle the sound" drive that goes over the the Olympic peninsula and gives you an option for a longer or shorter version. The is also a "SW Washington Drive" that goes along the columbia river, and a "North Cascades" drive. I am at the coast right now, but I'll be back tomorrow night. If you want to get together sometime while you're here send me a PM. We might get A7DZ and Zsondabrain to join in too.

If you decide on he Columbia Gorge cruise let me know. NorthWest Z will come through for you. Just let me know what you need. There are several cool places to see, the Gorge being one and Mt Hood with Timberline Lodge. I personally will show you some great things to see. Either in the mountains or on the coast along the ocean. Just send me a PM so I will be alerted .

The local club ZCCW is vary active and I am sure that they will be most helpful. We here at NW Z do cruises with them most each year even though they are 3 hrs away. There is much to enjoy in the Seattle area. Again send me a PM and I will get back with the contact info.

So After discussing it with Kirk, I think we had a good idea for next Saturday..

Anyone in the general area of Marysville (give or take 40 miles) is welcome to meet at my house in Marysville around noon on Saturday. We'll all leave around 12:30 to 1pm and head up the Mountain Loop HWY. and take a break at one of the many campsites for a break at the River. Have a couple snacks and head back for a BBQ at my house.

I'm thinking Burgers, dogs and drinks and Maybe even a Potluck of sorts. Bring what you want, store it at the house till we return from the drive and we'll all BS and share horror stories and such.

Feel free to stick around and depart later on, then we'll all meet again at the 3rd Annual ZCCW car show at Performance Nissan in Everett on Sunday at noon. It sounds like a great way to spend your week-end with a short cruise, a BBQ and a car show the next day.
