August 3, 200915 yr Author comment_291025 Ive just KBYed the floor pan and cowl area. "Managed" to vinyled the seats, not the best looking seats in the world but arent too shabby either. Dont mind the "getto" center console, Im still in the process of vinylling it, and she just received GT Grand Prix mirrors Still have alot of plans for her..too bad everything has to be onhold for at least a month...till Im back. Cheers Thach PS: dont think vinyled and vinylling are actual words Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32717-260z-22-hello-from-oz/#findComment-291025 Share on other sites
August 4, 200915 yr comment_291099 Congrats on your find. Looks like you've got a great project for yourself. I'm hoping the upholstery job you've shown on the seats and console are far from complete or only temporary in nature. At this point they remind me a bit of an elephant's nut sack. Check here for proper seat covers. www.classicdatsun.com or www.datsunrestore.com. August 4, 200915 yr Author comment_291101 The seats are fluffy coz of the extra foam I stuffed inside and Ill fiberglass the console probably sometimes of the end of year. Thanks for the links, if only had I know them before commencing I wouldnt even bother with this upholstery :stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32717-260z-22-hello-from-oz/#findComment-291101 Share on other sites
August 4, 200915 yr comment_291116 Hi Thac and welcome.Your car looks like a good clean start - a 1977? is it? The 2+2 is an excellent touring car.I noticed that your car has recent Western Australian plates and thought you should know that there is a WAZ Register club that operates in our home State. Several people in this forum are WAZ members as well. When you get time get along to one of the meets and meet a few members - the contacts will be invaluable both for information and access to parts and information about suppliers. Look forward to catching up sometime.RegardsDave Edited August 4, 200915 yr by boyblunda spelling Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32717-260z-22-hello-from-oz/#findComment-291116 Share on other sites
