Posted August 5, 200915 yr comment_291156 Not sure if you guys have noticed, but for the last week or so, Kyosho 1/18 scale BRE 240Z models have started showing up on eBay. They are all being sold out of Hong Kong. The first ones last week were listed at $178 plus $36 shipping, but are now about $150 with $36 shipping. I have been waiting for these to come out since I saw the protype in person at the Brock's house over a year ago. I emailed Gayle to ask why they were on eBay, but not on the BRE site (bre2.net). She said they were having some US distribution issues, but hoped to have that worked out soon. I just heard back from her and she found a work around for the problems they were having. The models are available on the BRE site now for $139 plus $7.10 priority mail shipping, but are still enroute from Japan, so they won't ship from BRE until the week of 8/18. The models are limited to a production run of 3,000. BRE is also offering a special signed and numbered limited edition of 146 that will be signed by Peter Brock and John Morton for an additional $50. Gayle is trying to get a newsletter out tonight to let people know.
