August 8, 200915 yr comment_291460 After doing a lot of research i have decided not to use the 5 lug adapters on my car as it would put unnecessary stress on my wheel bearings.As opposed to necessary stress?FYI... going to a wider wheel and tire combination put more stress on the wheel bearings then offsetting the wheel and tire combo out 1/2." Using FWD wheels will still require thick spacers, about the same thickness as the offset of the wheel. For most large diameter FWD wheels, that will be 35-50mm spacers. About the same thickness as the 5 lug adapters.
