Does it need one? Also these are off a 72 and I went threw them every thing moves great nothing is stuck! but i'm running them on a 260z would i need to swap out the springs at all or throw them on and see what happens? August 7, 200915 yr comment_291348 From what I remember the SU's dont use a gasket underneath the dome, at least mine never had them. The "thumbscrews" that you are referring too are actually the mixture screws, turn them right to go leaner and left to go richer. I think 2.5 half turns out is usually a good place to start, but dont quote me on that. As far as the rubber "seal" I think its just there to dampen vibrations from the carb to the bowl. August 7, 200915 yr comment_291385 There is no gasket under the dome. The missing gizzy under the body doesn't do anything except keep the nozzle from backing out, which it won't.The rubber gizzy orients the float bowl for level. Ir you need one call me. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32759-su-gods-desend-on-my-post-3-srcew-sus/#findComment-291385 Share on other sites
