August 7, 200915 yr comment_291409 10 seconds in, doesn't that look like a 2+2 z-car?Yes, JNC notes that in their write-up:"Also, it appears to transform from a 2+2 in the junkyard scene into a 2-seater when it’s on the road. Now that’s devilish! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32767-bonus-vid-wangan-midnight-2009-movie-trailer/#findComment-291409 Share on other sites

January 11, 201114 yr comment_341578 OK, Old post but FINALLY watched "Wangan Midnight" The Movie......Couple things......... And this is Kinda dissapointing considering it was shot in Japan, by Japanese? on Japan's roads and junkyard.240Z is the Completed car, but 260?? 2+2 in the scrapyard.Talk of a 100? turbo going into the Z near the end of the movie but they never show it. Especially considering the Triple Weber set-up and no airbox for the turbo to be devided into the Webers.Looking into the Z32 near the begining of the movie, the one guy points out the Twin Turbo's in an engine compartment that is clearly empty. The Girl in the GT-R tells the other guy that she was doing 180-MPH when her GT-R speedo says 280-KPH and that is barely 174-MPH.Plenty of other things but other than that, not too bad of a movie. I'd love to be the one burying that speedo when ever I wanted. Though keeping up with the subtitles was annoying.Guess I should watch ALL of the Anime before really making an informed decision.Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32767-bonus-vid-wangan-midnight-2009-movie-trailer/#findComment-341578 Share on other sites
