Posted August 17, 200915 yr comment_292193 Hey guys - its a bad luck story. Drivin the 280 behind a dump truck - a 6 inch rock drops out and I can't get around it. It hit the bottom of the Z in a half dozen places - I almost cried. Nothing could be done and it seemed cosmetic initially - so I figured just get on with it and drove on to town (after a brief once over on the road side). Anyway - next day, run over a small bump in the road and clunk, clunk. Jacked her up and after some poking around there it is - the bracket containing the D/S sway bar bushing is pulled off. Pretty clean break from the chassis. Anyone seen this befor? Can it just be welded directly back in place. Best method? August 19, 200915 yr comment_292334 Yeah Bob, just weld it back on and plenty of underseal should fix it fine. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32858-rear-sway-bar-bracket/#findComment-292334 Share on other sites
