Posted August 18, 200915 yr comment_292309 Can I buy a 14" rim at the junk yard that will fit my 73 Z (S30)? Or is there something special about the wheels and lug centers. I just need four used wheels and tires to get the car onto a trailer and bring it home. I don't want to have to go spend hour and hour getting the current set off and used tires put on and replacing the wheels. I am 200 miles from my car. So I want to buy a set of cheapo rims and used tires and just go swap them out. Thanks for your help. August 19, 200915 yr comment_292313 I'm no expert Scott, but I've read/heard that some older Mustang wheels w/4 bolt pattern will bolt on.Frank Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/32875-wheel-size-lug-centers/#findComment-292313 Share on other sites
August 19, 200915 yr comment_292319 Any s30 or s130 (280ZX) is a direct fit. In south Texas, there must be some lying around in the junkyards...Try car-part.com which enables you to search yards. August 19, 200915 yr Author comment_292331 Thanks for the reply. I'll have to do some real digging. Car-parts couldn't match so I'll just keep checking. At this point I would rather not spend any money on wheels, but that means driving up an blocking up the car so I can get all the wheels off or, like I said, finding some here and swapping them out.
