Classic Japanese Show n' Shine 18th October 2009

hey i was just wondering if anyone is entering the classic japanese show and shine? (in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia)

i went last year and it was a great meet. i met some awsum ppl and took lots of photos :>

just wanna know because the club i was going to go with pulled out and id like to meet more people from this club

Venue: Pine Rivers Park Strathpine (on Bald Hills Flats)

Date: 18th October 2009

With well over 200 cars/bikes in attendance last year 2009 is going to be showcasing the best of Japan in one venue.

Open to ALL Japanese vehicles – cars, bikes, trucks, 4WDS.

Originally aimed at pre 1980’s vehicles, the event is now open to all vehicles up to current models. Individuals, groups & Car Clubs are all welcome.

Get your entries in by the 1st of October 2009 and be part of the best show in OZ.

Also CJSS will now be holding the inter-club olympics.

There will be some really fun events for your club to participate in such as:

- Toss the Piston

- Roll The Rotor

- And Tug O War

So start getting your team together and see you all in October.

Categories are:

Best 1960 1st 2nd 3rd

Best 1970 1st 2nd 3rd

Best 1980 1st 2nd 3rd

Best 1990 1st 2nd 3rd

Best 2000 1st 2nd 3rd

Best Ute 1st 2nd

Best Club/Group (up to 8 vehicles) 1st

Best Club/Group (over 8 vehicles) 1st

Peoples Choice 1st

This year judges scoring will be done electronically. Those vehicles entered for judging will be required:

1. To have bonnet up

2. To have drivers door open

3. NOT to discuss their vehicle with judges.

Entries for judging will close 20th September. Cars entering on the day will NOT be eligible for Judging.

Food & Trade stall will be available again.

NOTE: There will be no loud stereos and Bad behaviour will not be tolerated
