Hi everyone, just need to know for my indicator lights to work do I have to have the hazard light that is in the center console pluged in?

I'm going out of my mind with these blinkers HELP!

On my 74 260 the answer is yes. Drove me nutz one day when I had the console out. Sure enough I took the hazard switch off the console, plugged it in and all was well.

Yup, he's right, for almost any car. The blinkers go thru the hazard switch, remove it and you have open circuit.

My hazard switch was freekin out on my and my blinkers were all screwed up till I twisted the knob a little and they worked great after that. go figure.
