Ever since i bought my car i had always wondered what cam i have in it. Seems more powerful than any l28 i ever drove. zx motor in a 240. But there is a mechanical fuel pump. did 280 cams have the lobe? I am wondering if i have a 240 cam in my motor.

Is it better for power or not as good as the 280 cam.

The fuel pump cam bolts to the end of cam. It can be added to any cam.

More to the point is that many later L28 heads don't have the hole for the pump machined into the head. That can be corrected, but it makes me wonder what head you have on the car. What is the head casting number?

p79 head casting. The thing goes like a rapped ape man. If i where to guess 160rwhp and i just got some webers for it too. So i am sure once dialed in it will be even better
