Hagerty's Collector Car magazine has a 240Z in it

Sure do. I had Grundy at first, but Hagerty has less restrictions on when and where you can drive and they have a fairly decent towing option at various prices. I find them far more reasonable than Grundy, prices are better, and you can still come to an agreed to price in the event of the loss of vehicle. I was able to name my own price of 18000 for my Z. Naturally the more you insure it for the more it costs, but we are talking a couple hundred for the year. Your price may vary.

Its hard to say how good they really are as I have never needed them. Thats the real proof, but the policies offered are better as far as I could tell.

Zedy....Do you use Hagerty?....if so how much do you pay?......how do you like 'em? Guy

Many of us of this site have Hagerty insurance, and everyone seems to be very happy with it, including me. The topic has been covered many times, so if you search for Hagerty you will find many threads discussing it.

Do you have to be a customer to get the magazine?

I believe that is the case. I'm sure someone can scan and post the article. If no one else does, I will when mine arrives.

My coworker has Hagerty for his muscle cars I believe and he's been happy with their coverage. He bought a 72 Cuda with a Mopar performance 426 hemi that was side swiped while it was briefly parked on the street. He said his agent sounded horrified when he told him but they fixed it no problem. The guys asked.. is it bad?

I also use Hagerty for my 1973 240z. I have it insured for $19,500 and pay roughly $220.00per year. This includes I think a $15 annual fee for towing and a battery jump if my car break's down. I was connected with them thru my Allstate Agent when I relocated to New York.

I just got the magazine 2 days ago and haven't looked at it..

Thanks Zedyone !!

Right now I have an 80's Cadillac,.....
What 80's Cadillac can be insured by Hagerty? I just recently found out that they also do special interest cars and 'modern classics' such as the newer 'vettes, 04-06 Pontiac GTOs, Cadillac CTS-Vs, some of the late model Mustangs, etc. I was with Hagerty for 12 years with my 78 280Z and 64 320 pickup. I plan to insure my GTO through them as soon as I get another car that I can insure through a regular carrier which is one of their requirements. Edited by sblake01
