I am completely stumped on this. I've already switched out float valves AND floats with the same result, taken out the last minute mesh filters, cleaned and recleaned everything to do with the floats, carb bodies, pistons, domes, etc. Watched the ztherapy video multiple times, adjusted multiple times, etc etc etc.

The static float level is maybe 1/16 below the top of the jet WHEN IT IS PULLED ALL THE WAY DOWN.

With the jet 2 1/2 turns out, the static fuel level is wayy down there (maybe an inch below top of the jet)

PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM BEFORE PLEAAAAASE HELP!!!

but i was running into the same thing, i don't if you have tried this but raise your float, the part of the z therapy video where he talks about he nozzles he refers to fluid dynamics: the fuel in the nozzle will only go as high as the fuel in the float chamber

do you mean raise the float by bending the adjustment tab? I've adjusted that way as far up as it will go, and it is still way off. Is there any other way to raise the float?

if you adjusted it up as high as it will go you should be poolin fuel in the carb

correct adjustment for the float from what i have read is 14 mm so somethin else is causin your problem

That's the only way I know too. This problem is so seemingly simple yet so mysterious at the same time.

Proper is about 10mm. Pull the float bowl valve. If it has any washers on the threaded part, remove them. This will assist in the raising of your fuel level because it will bring the valve closer to the top of the float bowl.

If it has 2 washers, remove one. if only one, then remove it. Pay attension to the tab that contacts the valve, bend it away from the valve to bring your fuel level up. I don't understand why yours is being so damn difficult.

I have one washer on each valve, Ill try taking those off. Using two of the shorter valves. The tab is bent to the point that the float will contact the ceiling, if I bend the tab any farther away, the float valve will just be open all the time.

Do you have the DVD from ZTherapy? Have you spoke with bruce? none of this makes sense. You got short valves, tab bent away and still won't spill over into the carbs??? Somethings definately wrong.

What about sending them in for a rebuild. Or a new set. I'm truly sorry, I'm as stuck as you are at this point.

Yea I've talked to Bruce, watched their DVD a few times, everything should be working fine, but it just wont.

If the float has a leak in it , wouldn't that cause the float to ride lower in the bowl and thus lower the overall fuel level? Are these things hollow? If not, maybe the floats are soaking up fuel and ending up heavier than normal. Do you have a spare set of floats you can try? Also are you seeing the same thing in both carbs? Just thinking out loud here. Bruce does this make any sense?

I had that thought too but Both Carbs? Having the same issue at the same time? I', stumped.

Enigma - Can't find any fuel leaking from under carbs or float bowl. Floats are solid, but I have tried swapping floats from a completely different set and the problem persists. Both carbs are way down low. I do have a spare float set, but I only switched out the valves and float, I could try that out, although I did measure the two sets and everything looks identical from the outside.
