September 8, 200915 yr comment_294104 with weatherstripping glue from 3M. Make sure the surface i very clean, lay a smal bead on the surface and the rubber itself. Let them sit for about 30 to 60 seconds before applying the rubber to the car. Basically, it's contact cement so let both sides air dry for a minute before installing. Either clean up immediately or let dry before peeling. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33105-1972-240z/#findComment-294104 Share on other sites

September 17, 200915 yr comment_294979 It is also easier to install with the hatch removed from your car. I wouldn't say it's impossible to replace the weatherstripping without the hatch removed, but it would be very messey.
