Posted September 8, 200915 yr comment_294136 Here's a pic of my Z that I recently painted in my garage. It still needs some final polishing and a couple little things here and there, but it's mostly done. I'm planning on taking her to the JCCS in October, so if you see me there be sure to stop and say hello. -Bart Edited September 9, 200915 yr by bartman Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33109-freshly-painted/ Share on other sites

September 9, 200915 yr comment_294179 Very nice. I love two tone black on blue. The silver, not so much. Great choice of rims and the side vent looks great too. Keep up the good work. September 9, 200915 yr comment_294189 I agree with Enigma but to each their own, you like it and that's what matters. Tri-Tone is pretty hard to pull off with any vehicle/color selection. September 9, 200915 yr Author comment_294216 I know it's not for everyone, but I'm very happy with the results. It's a shark theme, and that's the reason for the silver fade on the bottom. There's also reproduction shark emblems over the gills from the Mako shark concept car from many years ago. September 9, 200915 yr comment_294218 Wow impressive garage job. I am usually not a fan of fade jobs b/c most people don't do it well. Hard to tell from the photos but looks like you got it perfect Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33109-freshly-painted/#findComment-294218 Share on other sites
September 9, 200915 yr Author comment_294233 You can't really tell from the first pic I posted, but the hood, cowl panel and hatch are all carbon fiber. I painted just the edges to keep the line between black and blue going around the car. Here's a couple of earlier shots where you can see them better.
