September 9, 200915 yr comment_294237 In the oil.Seriously, you would need to drop the oil pan, drill a hole below the fluid level, weld a fitting into the pan that the sensor retainer could thread into. Seal well with thread tape. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33110-oil-temperature-gauge/#findComment-294237 Share on other sites
September 10, 200915 yr comment_294255 Do they make a combination oil pressure & temperature, and water temperature gauge? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33110-oil-temperature-gauge/#findComment-294255 Share on other sites
September 14, 200915 yr comment_294669 there is a post here, or over at Hybridz, where they put a spacer between the oil filter and the mounting block. The spacer came with a fitting on it just so you can attach a temp senser to it. Looked clean, and no mods to the car that can't be undone.
