I was wondering if anyone has a component locator for a 1977 Datsun 280z. I am trying to locate where the electronic fuel injection module is. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you mean the electronic fuel injection relay in a 1977 280Z?

Er, well, that's where the relays are located. The control module is located behind the driver's kick panel.

Module as in Transistor Ignition Unit? If that's what your looking for , it is on the passenger side next to the fuse box.

The relays aren't located there on your 78, however. It was unclear to me as to what ROBINSONS was actually looking for since no component in the EFI sytem is actually referred to as a 'module'. In fact, Nissan didn't even use that term when referring to the transistor ignition unit.

I think he was asking about the fuel injection module (driver's side), not the ignition module (passenger side). Module might not be the right word, granted, but I think he's talking about the big box with the semiconductors in it.

I'm not being critical, mind you. I'm the world's worst dyslexic. I understand and sympathize with the error(s).

Well, not knowing where or what it is makes it difficult to locate and difficult to know what to do with it when you do find it.
