Posted September 21, 200915 yr comment_295355 I'm in the process of restoring a 1976 280z (my first car!) and I'm on to the interior. I have never wired a stereo and I don't know what to do exactly haha. I am dealing with the stock stereo. I did not work when i first got the car, and not all the wires were hooked up. Here's whats up... It doesn't power on. It looks like the guy who owned the car before me jumped the stereo into the circuit breaker. And the wiring harness that leads to the stereo has been altered it looks like..maybe that's just me haha. I have searched for wiring diagrams and schematics everywhere but no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot. September 21, 200915 yr comment_295357 There's a radio wiring scematic on page BE-80 in the factory service manual. Here's a link to a zipped copy in pdf.:http://www.xenons30.com/files/FSM/76_datsun_280z.zip Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33274-76-280z-stereo-wiringneed-help/#findComment-295357 Share on other sites
