For all the media coverage and interest in the 350Z, there sure seems to be a lot of them on Ebay. I counted over 40 listings(some possibly duplicate listings) today for Touring and Track models. Are people finding out it is over-rated or are they just trying to make a profit by selling it for more than they paid, that is if they have even taken posession of the car yet.

More of the same "speculators" that drove up the price of the Miata's and S2000's when they were introduced??? Are people that desperate that they would actually want to spend more than they could get one from a dealer?

I have already heard of one "horror story" of a dealer charging 100 bucks to test drive one? Wonder how many other dealers are doing the same thing?

IIRC it happened with the 240Z too...

Back in March 1992 I purchased a Saturn 4 door because the dealer did not treat me like sh.. I ended up ordering a car with ABS and an air bag and by the time my car arrived the JD Powers report had come out and Dealers could not keep the cars on the lot. I was stopped in shopping centers by people offering me $1000 to $2000 over what I had paid for the car. Idiots!

The thing that impressed me is that I have never heard of one occurrence of a Saturn dealer taking advantage of the situation and jacking the car prices up. Most car dealers are trash, they will lie, cheat, etc to get the sale. In my 47 years on this planet have had the chance to screw dealers twice and have enjoyed it each time.

The real kicker is that some dealers do not understand why folks feel this way!

But they again they just find the sheep and lead them to slaughter :dead:

2nd only to computer techs who charger you double time for a 1 hr job, markup their prices 200% and still dont fix it!

the local dealer here in beaverton ( suberb of Portland Or) sold there 350z get this for $ 15,000 over sticker. I was there when they were geting it ready for delivery. Like the man said there is one borne every min. . I wouldent trade it for my 240 honest, that is if I couldent sell it and had to drive it. W E L L maby I could wear a mask or somthing. Damn there UGLY
