October 4, 200915 yr comment_296359 You can open up the head where it's filled in, install the eccentric and use the mechanical fuel pump. I've done this mod a few times in the past. October 4, 200915 yr Author comment_296364 My huge fear as I seem to be prone to misfortune, is that I would damage the head in some way that would render it useless.. or worse.. metal shaveings get in the bottom end and fubar it as well. Im going to try the electric only first and see how things go. Worst case I buy the Holly and reg from Motorsport and install them. October 5, 200915 yr comment_296464 IBZINYA,I have a 260 that I run with a Holly electric pump installed at the tank that feeds my SU's. On the return line I have a fuel pressure regulator set @ 3. I have had no problems with mine....Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33405-260-electric-fuel-pump-only/#findComment-296464 Share on other sites
