October 29, 200222 yr comment_17824 smg1404,$94 mounted and balanced sounds really good. Best price I could find on the AVS's was $71 each from Tire Rack. Then I'd still have to pay shipping, mounting and balancing. Discount tire could get me some, but it ended up right at $100/tire after all was said and done. Let us know how they turn out on the track. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3348-tires/?&page=2#findComment-17824 Share on other sites
October 29, 200222 yr comment_17832 I had a good time with Khumo VictorRacers (I liked the name as well) 205/55/14's. they lasted well and stuck like crazy. Driving them regulary on the street is not a very good idea though. I ended up cracking them straight across the face. And they have a VERY stiff sidewall, which makes them a uncomfortable touring tire. But for AutoXing and mountain-road-craziness, there may not be a better tire.
