zbane Posted October 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) The dam, it looks to me, is this one- just modified. Edit: just dropped the photo into paint.net and simulated cutting out the center section of the lower valance, as I suspect the owner of dam in question did. auzziez Posted October 12, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 12, 2009 I like the fender flares too. can anybody provide some information about those? Are they easy to put on, Are they screwed in, or do they just look it. I'm running the OEM slotted mags on my '70, how wide should the tires be so that the flares don't look too big for the wheels? In my opinion no matter how wide tires you squeeze onto your slotted mags, they're not going to fillout the flares.

bartman Posted October 13, 2009 Share #10 Posted October 13, 2009 Be very careful about purchasing from Showcars body parts. I've heard nothing but bad things regarding them. Things like extremely long wait times or not getting the parts at all, and poor quality for those that do receive their shipments. I got my air dam from MSA, but I don't see it on their web site. I would give them a call and see if they can get it for you.
70 Cam Guy Posted October 13, 2009 Share #11 Posted October 13, 2009 I think that's a Kaminari like I'm running on my car: I didn't know you were on this forum! I got a couple pictures of your car from JCCS. It's the first I've seen with the Sportmax wheels from MSA. I was looking at those and the Netz at MSA, and Wats if I really want to spend some $$$ http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v283/70CamGuy/JCCS%202009/?action=view¤t=IMG_0346.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v283/70CamGuy/JCCS%202009/?action=view¤t=IMG_0371.jpg They aren't spectacular but if you'd like the full size shots, I'd be happy to send them. Anyone know the wheels on the car in the original post?

Anyone know the wheels on the car in the original post? I don't think MSA carries the same size Sportmax wheels I'm running. They're 18x8.5 up front and 18x9.5 on the rear. It was pretty hard to get them to fit, and I had to use 8" springs on the back in order to raise the lower perch high enough to not interfere with the wheels. The pic's look great, please do send me the originals. As for the wheels in the first shot, I don't know for sure - but they look like HRE wheels.
