Posted October 19, 200915 yr comment_297854 I was at the 2009 Mid Ohio Vintage Grand Prix this year and I got to see a couple S30s on qualifying day. It looks like one didn't make it to race day, but the other, a 1970 Datsun 240Z (2.8L) took 4th (SVRA Group 8 )thxZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33576-2009-mid-ohio-vintage-grand-prix/ Share on other sites
October 20, 200915 yr comment_297997 Any pics? I checked the results, the 4th place finisher was Fred Seitz, no disrespect to him but 14 seconds from 1st place. He's been racing that car for quite a few years, I used to autocross with him in the late 90's at Miller Park in Milwaukee. From a quick search of greyghost's gallery: It's fairly safe to say if Gerry was there with his #3 BRE car he would have mopped up the field. Hopefully next year I'll be at that event, bittersweet though, I've been approved for SVRA group 6 (big bore group) as they didn't like the dry sump.
