Posted October 24, 200222 yr comment_17523 Hello all. I am looking for the two "chrome" dohickies that cover the mounting screws for the grip on the right door on a '72. They seem to be in scarce supply. I tried All Z East in Portland and while they have many Z's, there were none of these. I think they break easily. October 25, 200222 yr comment_17537 The only way I could get them and it was 10+ years ago was to buy the entire handle from the dealer. They were not avail. seperately.Odds are if you did find junk yard it wouldn't last long as the plastic dries with age. October 25, 200222 yr comment_17550 Sorry to confirm the only way they are available (new that is) is by buying the whole handle. I found a new one about 3 yrs ago but don't know if it is available anymore. I would guess that 99 out of 100 used Zs where you might find a handle will be missing the chrome caps. October 25, 200222 yr Author comment_17556 I have quickly come to that conclusion. There is a new grab handle on eBay. I ordered a new one from a local Nissan dealer which will probably cost less than the eBay one, after adding shipping. October 25, 200222 yr comment_17559 They always seem to crack at the small piece where the handle runs thru.Perhaps a thin coating of jb weld on the rear of the part would increase the life.Just make sure not to cover where the clips seat. Have fun Daniel Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3358-right-door-hardware/#findComment-17559 Share on other sites
