You guys might have an opinion about this one.

I can control things like image size in the forums. Right now, the max size is 640x480 because larger images ruin the forum display.

If I disabled the image views by default, the image attachments will appear as "attachments" in the message and a user must click on the attachment to see the image.

If I did this, I could increase the default image size. What do you think?

(this would be helpful for guys like Zvoiture who upload wallpaper)

Guess I'll have to chime in with the only comment for posting the pics themselves. I was a dial-upper for many years, and although it does take a bit to load a thread page full of pics, it's not unbearable, especially if you've got close to a 51k (actual) connection.

I don't know what dial-up speed some of you folks overseas are connecting at, so maybe this is an issue for you.

If it's available in your area, high speed access is definitely worth the price.
