Posted November 1, 200915 yr comment_299110 Well, I am no longer the caretaker of HLS30-73667...with some sadness and trepidation, the new owner loaded her up and took her away.I hope the person that purchased it becomes an active member on this board. I'll still lurk, maybe one day I'll get back into the game. I appreciate the help from everyone here over the short years I participated - this board is a model for other enthusiast boards to follow. November 1, 200915 yr comment_299113 The previous owner of my HLS30-23651 felt the same way. He was regretful about selling it. 85% of the people I talk to about Z's regret having sold thiers.Hope yours is in good hands. Sad to see any of us lose what a Z brings to thier lives. I'm sure you had your reasons.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33710-shes-gone/#findComment-299113 Share on other sites
November 1, 200915 yr Author comment_299114 The guy that bought it is a good dude, I am glad he was the buyer. My main reasons are focus - I have another car to work on and an old motorcycle that's been in my family for 40 years. Too many projects. Not to mention that I've always wanted a Ferrari 308, and they are now quite affordable. I'll hold off on that purchase given the economy, but I need to be ready if I should make a move. April 10, 201510 yr Author comment_467455 Wow - it's been awhile since I've posted here, can't believe it's been 5+ years since I sold my 240Z! Still own my E-Type and I did ultimately add that Ferrari 308 (as well as another Jag - 85 XJS V12)! In due time, I will get another Z car, but I'm looking to do something like what Diseaszd has done...maybe a bit ambitious, because money is always tight. Before I know it, my kids will be in college, but I'm always scheming for that next toy. I know there were some others here that sold their cars (I believe @Arne was one) - are they still around? I do lurk from time to time, but seem to spend a lot of time over in the Ferrari forum world... Any way - hope everyone is great and driving their cars! If you are in the Monmouth / Ocean County area, there are Cars and Coffee type events in Shrewsbury (I think there's one tomorrow)...would love to see more Z's!!
