November 4, 200915 yr comment_299396 To remove the nipples in the exhaust manifold you will need a quality 14mm open end/box wrench. I used a reciprocating saw to cut the common rail into sections and then cut them flush at the nipple for easier access. By searching these forums I found the correct sizing and a fantastic place to order the small bolts to plug the holes left in the exhaust manifold and the the holes that will be left in the intake. The whole process is quite easy, maybe a small pain in the back from leaning into the engine bay and reaching into for most of the process :classic:thor Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33720-removing-emission-recirculation-is-it-worth-it/?&page=2#findComment-299396 Share on other sites
