March 29, 201114 yr Author comment_351275 Great question. But I gotta finish the car and get it on the road before I can tell you the answer. Been a cold winter and now money to work on the car. So nothing has been done since last November. But as soon as I get a chance, I'll finish up the body work so I can get it to paint and get to finishing this damn car.Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33740-my-260z-build-brake-upgrades-and-mods/?&page=7#findComment-351275 Share on other sites
April 5, 201113 yr comment_352144 If anyone cares: As stated by the OP, the 15/16" brake master cylinder is listed at most auto parts stores for about $35.. but they aren't available. I checked with every auto parts dealer within 50 miles of me and rock auto online, nobody could actually get one without the reservoirs. i had kragen and pep boys contact their supplier and they were told people weren't sending in cores for that model and they are now unavailable. April 5, 201113 yr Author comment_352151 Thanks for the info. One thing you can look into is a used one from the Junk yard (Pull a part) and see if the auto parts store has a rebuild kit. Simple kit, just clean the hell out of everything. As stated, I bought mine without the resevoirs, about $100 cheaper cause the 280ZX has the electric fluid level tops. And the 240Z Resevoirs squeeze right on there. Thanks again,Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/33740-my-260z-build-brake-upgrades-and-mods/?&page=7#findComment-352151 Share on other sites
