It's really no use...

I say per-jo (not pewjo!)

I say porsh (correct way to say it is indeed porsha!)

I say Daywoo (some say dayoo)

I say Jag-u-ah (some say jagwaa)

I say Cob-rah (some say Co-bra with the o as in 'coke')

I say ren-oh (some say ren-alt)

I say Zed. :)

And merc is short for mercedes, not mercury!

While we're on the subject, anyone know the CORRECT way to say Murcielago? Using my Italian knowledge I say Mer-che-lah-go but I've no idea if that's right or not...

Got to say something here...what the hell are you all going on about? Who the hell spends this much time trying to pronounce letters? Does it really matter how we say it? Just because americans can't pronounce things properly doesn't mean that we all have to suffer (this excludes you mike:classic: )!!!! Z is pronounced ZED not ZEE, sesame street was wrong!!!:finger: but if we are arguing about things, how come aussies say car as 'caa' and yanks say it as 'are' with a c in front...the world is screwy, but at least we still have our beautiful dattos!!!

Cheers ppl, stop wasting your time, because us aussies are right anyway! Any country that has animals as intelligent as koalas must be right!!!!

Hey there Leroy,

Seeing as you mentioned Koalas, I thought I'd throw this one in.

Would have been back around 1976 or 77 I told a couple of Yank Marines about the most dangerous animal in the Australian bush............... the dreaded DROP BEAR. They had their doubts at first until I pointed out to them that the Nice, cuddly Koala that are shown in photos being held by tourists are in fact DOMESTICATED DROP BEARS.

Poor buggers probably spent the entire exercise checking out tree branches.

Whatcha reckon KEN, ya heard that one before???????????
