It appears to a basic driver in fair condition with new paint. It would be nice to see some pics of the rest of the car to get the whole story.

Anyone wanting a PPI, I live about 5 miles from that dealership... Outside it looks great. Inside could use a refresh.

Not loving the monster truck wheels. But that Z will be nice once the engine is done and the interior is tidy. But I will say this, I sure could use a nice set of floormats.

No, I don't think so. Looks like a quick refresh in BRE livery to try to make an average driver sell for more than it's worth. Around here that's an $8000 car at most.

That's what I was thinking. I'm not a fan of the BRE livery except for Ron Carter's cars. On a street car it doesn't add anything to the value IMO.

Looking at the pictures, I figure someone picked up a straight and fairly clean 240Z to flip that was originally 110 red, but at some point had an external color change. (Note the bits of persimmon paint peeking out from behind the cheap black engine compartment paint, especially on the strut tower.) Probably paid less than $3-4k for it, because it needed paint. Whoever this was realized that while repainting it in the original color would be best for resale, way too much effort would be required to pull that off decently. Far easier to paint the BRE scheme and try to sell it as something "special".

I think dealer markup is usually double on a used car so they probably have $5K in it. I have seen BRE tribute cars here in Sac for years. One is very nice and he owns a 510 that is just as tasty.

It seems that there are a lot of these cars coming out of the woodwork, second one that I have seen for sale in the last 6 months or so...

Nice paint, at least it looks like he got the colors right. Still some details missing and an incomplete BRE replica.

Quick look today. The pictures are an ok representation. Interior and engine detail are not consistent with the paint. Paint is ok but not show... This is a driver and probably worth 5 - 8K

Thats kinda lame to take a car and just put BRE paintscheme and new wheels on it. The motor looks bone stock, any BRE would have triple two barrels on it. The interior looks ok but again not what a real BRE would have (Roll cage and no carpet or vinyl most likely . I would be leary buying that car it could have a lot of mechanical issues or rust hidden under that shiny BRE paint!

mr.inline6er, you're missing the point. It's a BRE 'styled' or a BRE 'tribute' car. I don't care much for either term but that's what they call them. No one is even remotely trying to pass them off as real BRE cars. The motor et. al. looks stock becaue it is.
