Thought I would ask you guys for some help.

We are building a 73 240Z for LeMons/ChumpCar and would like to know about doing things for endurance racing.

Head gasket: Is there one better than others?

Do we need to baffle oil pan?? I would think so.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

a baffled pan is a good idea, and an accusump is also a good idea.

It seems the OEM Nissan head gasket is still supreme. I'd recomend this with ARP studs over a Felpro or others, sorry but I don't have a p/n off hand.

That's a loaded question. It all depends on your level of engine prep, etc. Regardless, IMHO if you keep it at 7200 or less it'll last a very long time. With that said it's not uncommon to see one wrung up to 8500.
