What wrong with this set up?

This is a car I got last year after the garage it was in burn.......... you don't want to see the picture of what was left.

Anyway, I'm installing all the mecanical parts on my 240z and I was hesitating on those set of wheel.

On the car, it had flare and 1 inch spacer on the wheel. Wheels are 15 inch. Don't remember the tire size...

But it look like something is wrong........... is it the wheel that it too small? Tires too small for the flare........... or the red color? :stupid:

Just want to know your opinio on this.

Thanks,

Joce

It looks ok but if your suspension is tight, then I would go with a larger wheel and taller tire.

I have 16x7 wheels and 225/50ZR16's on my 240Z. As you can see, they fill the wheel wells just fine. The car has been lowered only about 1.5 inches and never rubs due to the KYB's and Eibach springs.

Thanks for your opinion.

I'll check tonight and post the tire size which will probably confirm that they're too small.

I like those wheels and wil probably try to install them on my 240z which doesn't have no flare. So will try them with no spacer.

hm now that you mention the size, it doesn't seem as bad. 205/50/15 is not much smaller than my 205/60/14. I going to go out on a limb and say it probably looks better in person, and even better on stock fenders. Just think smaller tires are like doing gears
