October 29, 200222 yr comment_17842 Sounds good, although I blew a head gasket recently, so mine is "resting" for the time being, while I decide whether to just get started on the whole restimize project. And my Jeep is in the body shop getting repaired from a hit and run, so I'm in a cheesy rental car this week. gary Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3407-any-bay-area-zs-out-there/#findComment-17842 Share on other sites
October 30, 200222 yr comment_17882 Hey, another bay area here, it would be nice to have a meet somewhere in the bay area! The ZONC club really is not a bay area club, so there really is not a good club in this area. Would love to take a tour through the wine country with a bunch of Z's! Anyway nice to meet ya all! Z ya later, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3407-any-bay-area-zs-out-there/#findComment-17882 Share on other sites
October 30, 200222 yr comment_17888 Well I spent most of my life in Redwood City but now live in Sacto, where the property is way cheaper and the jobs pay about the same! If you decide to do a Wine Country run let me know, I am sure I could round up a couple Z folk from Sacto. October 30, 200222 yr comment_17889 Another bay area here. There is a spinoff club from hybridz.org in Yahoo groups called NorCalHybridZ. They had several small z meets already. I haven't gone to any of them cuz I haven't started tearing down my recent acquisition yet, '72 240z. Kinda feel embarrased... Soon, by golly, soon! -Guycali Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3407-any-bay-area-zs-out-there/#findComment-17889 Share on other sites
October 30, 200222 yr comment_17892 Guycali,Take your car to the events!!! Sure there are a few people who will turn up their nose but most Z folk will come over and want to talk to you about your plans for the car. You will get more advise and help plus you will meet more people and probably save some money along the road!Stand proud and have fun! Don't worry about it, just enjoy what you have as you prepare to bring it back to its former glory. As for a cruise up to wine country, well, mine won't be ready for that for some time. I'm still debating what I'm going to do now that the head gasket is blown and I've got to tear into the engine. gary Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3407-any-bay-area-zs-out-there/#findComment-17910 Share on other sites
