So I was reading ads for cars as I always do and I saw this one... It's a 240Z for sale in Vancouver BC and I couldn't help but laugh after reading his unbelievable description.

"The most amazing, unique and tastefully fully done 1972 Datsun 240Z you will find. Over $60,000 spent on restoration plus over 1,000 hours of labour. The car has a fresh race-ready Datsun 2.8liter stroker race engine. The car has not been dyno tested but it is faster than a Nissan Skyline Turbo. I estimate it may have 325 hp +. These cars (once referred to as "The Poor Man's Ferrari") could do 150mph with the stock engine running on just 5 cylinders, so with a 5spd instead of the original 4spd and double the horsepower, this car should be able to do 180 to 190mph.

The restoration is very detailed and used only the highest quality original Datsun parts straight from Japan or parts sourced through race shops. The restoration kept the original "feel" and performance of the original car, with subtle yet tasteful body upgrades and high performance goodies. The car even has a fully built spare race engine complete with dual Weber carbs, Datsun hp pistons, high compression fully redone race head with all new valvetrain including mild cam and oversize, undercut stainless steel valves (the engine in the car now also has these goodies).

The interior of the car is amazing. Custom upholstered original seats with the "Z" symbol woven into the headrests, all new panels and carpet and an absolutely wicked custom built race cage with roof and door bars.

The car originates from Phoenix, Arizona and has close to 75,000 original miles. The car has less than 250 miles on it since the complete restoration.

I have tons of photos so I will not write on and on about the car. The car can be purchased starting at $35,000 all the way up to $50,000 if you want the race-ready original spare engine with the original 4 spd, an R200 posi diff and a brand new race/ road suspension package with rear disc brake conversion and Tokico Illumina 5-way asjustable struts.

The best way to get in touch is by email. If you really appreciate very high performance classic sports cars, you will love this beautifully reconstructed 1972 Datsun 240Z. Serious inquiries only - no "Test Pilots" please :)"

I'm going to go out and disconnect a spark plug so I cna run 150mph on 5 cylinders now.....LOL
