December 9, 200915 yr comment_302756 Feel free to rub it in :mad:Check to see that the wire from the shift control on the dash is connected to and actually moving mixture control valve (under/behind glove compartment) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34082-heater-always-blows-warm/#findComment-302756 Share on other sites
December 29, 200915 yr comment_304492 heater control valves go bad too. Just yesterday I saw a 1977 in the junkyard and the heater control valve was not in the car and bypassed with straight heater hoses. that would give constant heat! December 29, 200915 yr comment_304503 I've taken 2 or 3 out of 240Zs and cleaned a bunch of crap out of them and gotten them to work again. If that doesn't work, then replace. December 31, 200915 yr Author comment_304730 Thanks everyone, just tore apart my interior and found a very small leak on passenger side. I'm going to replace the valve and possibly the core Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34082-heater-always-blows-warm/#findComment-304730 Share on other sites
